J&T Express has started trading(IPO) in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in Oct 27th 2023, marking its second-largest public offering this year. The stock price was at the issue price of HK$12 as of press time, and the total market value exceeded HK$100 billion.
J&T Express operates in thirteen countries, including Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and China. Its clients include merchants and consumers of major ecommerce platforms like Shopee, Lazada, Taobao, and Shein.It has also been working with TikTok Shop in Indonesia before regulatory changes prohibited the social media firm’s ecommerce arm from operating in the country. It is still unclear how this could impact J&T Express’ local performance.
